Innumerable little birds have settled down upon one large tree; they chirp happily to each other in endless rows.. ~28 Degree of Leo
In the United States we are having the rare event of a Solar Eclipse this New Moon. Creative inspiration starts our phase as the Moon talks intimately, not only with the Sun but also with Mercury, Uranus, the Ascendant AND the North Node. Notice how we are all in this together? Exchanging ideas fluent in fun is an excellent start when manifesting reward. What makes us happy? What makes us thankful? Mercury is in retrograde so “re” words are the best subjects for inward and outward conversations. Some examples are review, research, reunite, reconstruct, renew, rework, repair, etc. What makes you feel? The Moon is teaching us what is shining too much? Pause for a moment. We need to make sure we are only chatting up and giving energy to what is worth creating. Our thoughts create our environment. We are headed for the promised land. Is there anything we need to change? There is a restful period coming that can be used to gather strength and fortitude. Diane Glancy wrote poetry of her experience,
I wake invisible.
I make a needle
from a porcupine quill,
sew feet to legs,
lift spine onto my thighs.
I put on my rib and collarbone.
I pin an ear to my head,
hear the waxwing’s yellow cry.
I open my mouth for purple berries,
stick on periwinkle eyes.
I almost know what it is to be seen.
My throat enlarges from anger.
I make a hand to hold my pain.
My heart a hole the size of the sun’s eclipse.
I push through the dark circle’s
tattered edge of light.
All day I struggle with one hair after another
until the moon moves from the face of the sun
and there is a strange light
as though from a kerosene lamp in a cabin.
I pun on a dress,
a shawl over my shoulders.
My threads knotted and scissors gleaming.
Now I know I am seen.
I have a shadow.
I extend my arms,
dance and chant in the sun’s new light.
I put a hat and coat on my shadow,
another larger dress.
I put on more shawls and blouses and underskirts
until even the shadow has substance”
Which leads us to….

In a still corner of the museum are weapons of long ago and in a glass case, by itself, is a single venerable sword..~~13th Degree of Pisces.
Ultimately, we all need to make decisions based on our own sense of right and wrong. So far…love wins every battle. Are we paying enough attention to our own well-being and self-love? What can we accomplish with a sense of well-being as opposed to a sense of commotion? What reserves do we have to give if we need to deliberately make a point? Have our fears gotten out of proportion? Why do we have suspicions? What are we trying to control? Preserve unnecessary might. It will heal us faster. It will save energy sources for more productive requests. When we practice respect and reverence daily it makes ALL the difference. Seek our absolution. Confucius says, “Never give a sword to a man who can’t dance.”
